Day 3-end
In a Word.
I hate geology. No seriously.
I dont know about you, but sometimes when i read other blogs and they go on and on and on about their 3 week/6 month vacation, I get bored after a while. So to not follow in their footsteps I'll just present the other pictures with random stuff.

Heres a question: What happens when you have 3 people with very different personalities, very different tastes, and very different ideas on how the holiday should be?

S for Sohai
Why you get a LOT of arguments of course.

The sperm back whale, largest whale that exists
Side note: You'd think from these photos that the whale is small, but check this out

But I digress.
Anyway, you come up with a voting system. Since there were 3 of us (an odd number), we would always come to a decision. However, due to not wanting to piss the other person off, the last person to vote usually didnt vote at all so that method didnt work.
But somehow we still managed to get places and do stuff. Our next stop was Hanmer Springs.
The experience was phenomenal. Imagine driving through the grassy rocky plains of New Zealand with great big spaces, amongst a backdrop of snow capped mountains. We learnt how to handle ATVs - All Terrain Vehicles, and followed a guide through rocks, puddles of mud, and in some spots, full flowing streams. Just amazing.

An ATV goes pretty fast, but even an 8 year old kid beat Ian.
So thats part 3. Sorry its taking this long. Geology is a bitch.
